Since losing our son Ricky to an accidental overdose in May 2019, we have created a non profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organization in his memory to provide sensible solutions to assist members in our communities that are vulnerable and need assistance. We started a backpack program and have distributed over 2,300 backpacks to persons in treatment facilities, resource centers and homeless on the streets!
We will continue to provide essential personal items to this overlooked segment of our society for as long as this organization exists.

It is the mission of Ricky, Inc. to give relief to the less fortunate population of our society who are suffering from homelessness, mental illness and substance use disorder. We provide this relief by distributing backpacks filled with essential personal needs items such as toothpaste, toothbrush, shave cream, razors, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, body wash, hand warmers, foot powder, hats, gloves, socks, etc. We also provide an extensive resource guide detailing numerous crisis resource organizations and a list of contact information of how and where to get help.
Ricky, Inc. is a registered 501 (c) (3) charitable organization, organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and maintains an IRS Federal Tax and a Massachusetts DOR State Tax Exemption status.
We are a 100% volunteer organization and all monies raised are used to purchase the materials for distribution to this needy population. Anyone suffering from homelessness, mental illness or substance use disorder, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, disability, faith or religion is eligible to receive our assistance.
We focus on providing essential materials and resource information to all members of our communities in need. Our volunteers provide assistance that have a positive effect and make a difference in the lives of everyone we come in contact with and provide a foundation of hope.
